Run For Office

DECA creates an environment where student leaders can practice real-world leadership by adopting a structure that mirrors industry leadership. The Washington DECA Executive Officer Program provides leadership at all levels of the association. This is accomplished through DECA officer positions that align with the DECA mission to ensure that each aspect of the mission is represented on leadership teams.

Local Officer Leadership

Local chapters run like a business and provide DECA students with hands-on leadership experience. As a student-led organization, this begins at the local chapter level where students take on specific leadership roles to fulfill the day-to-day needs and overall growth of the organization.

Executive Officer Leadership Team

DECA’s Executive Officers are elected by the student members from all chartered associations around the world. These leaders serve as primary student public relations agents and represent more than 219,000 members to a variety of key stakeholders, including fellow members, advisors, education administrators, business partners, public policy makers and more. They also develop a program of leadership to support DECA Inc.’s strategic plan for DECA worldwide.
