Mission Monday is a weekly feature where we showcase our student members and the work they're doing to live out Washington DECA's mission of providing business and leadership opportunities to high school students to succeed in school, careers and life. The following is a project by Kasidy Love and Niem Vohad from Auburn High School.

ProGuard is a new innovative backpack built to protect and secure important items. The backpack has many useful features and can prevent several problems. ProGuard has lots of potential in the backpack industry and can generate a tremendous profit. Our backpack can serve as a bodyguard to our customers in ways that normal backpacks cannot. It locks up customers belongings with its unique fingerprint identification system.

The target market of high school and college aged females will have an inclination to purchase our product due to the fact the backpack will save them money by keeping their belongings safe. ProGuard is estimated to bring in $2,043,820 in its first year of business. ProGuard is a one-of-a-kind backpack that will dominate its competition as soon as it hits the market. We are asking for is a loan of $500,000 dollars, which investors will get 10% interest rate over a five year period. After ProGuard pays that off the investor, he/she will own 25% of our company. ProGuard is going to lead the way to revolutionize backpack making all around the world.
