Washington DECA

MISSION MONDAY: KRYSTAL GRAYLIN AND SARAH QUINN FROM NEWPORT HIGH SCHOOL

Mission Monday is a weekly feature where we showcase our student members and the work they're doing to live out Washington DECA's mission of providing business and leadership opportunities to high school students to succeed in school, careers and life. The following is a project by Krystal Graylin and Sarah Quinn from Newport High School.

"Blank Space Café was founded by Peggy Huang in Bellevue, WA in August 2015. The café is a modern, cozy place to relax that offers Asian-themed desserts. Most visit for the specialty toast box, others the prized boba tea, and some seek a sweet retreat from the chaos of daily life.

Blank Space combines artistic desserts & blissful atmosphere for a matcha made in heaven. Due to poor service, Blank Space Café’s reputation has declined. The owners have asked us to develop a plan to improve the customer experience and help the café reach its full potential.

We have developed a plan to increase Blank Space’s social media engagement, optimize the in-store experience, and develop a company culture of improvement with a budget of $8,500."
